Paddu / Paniyaram
Ingredients:
Dosa batter - 4 cups
Salt - As required
Green chillies - 2
Onion - 1 medium (finely chopped)
Oil - 1 cup
Method:
1) Heat the paddu pan.
2) Apply oil with brush on a pan.
3) Pour dosa batter in the holes of the pan.
4) Close the lid on the pan for around 5 mins.
5) Take the lid, now turn the paddu in pan upside down and roast for another 5 mins or until golden brown.
Yummy paddu is ready to be served with chutney.
Note:
1) Keep the flame in medium when frying paddu.
2) Grated carrot can also be added to the batter.
